This is the first time that the artists Céline Berger and Jennifer Lyn Morone are presenting themselves to the Prague public – Morone with her solo show Oneself as the Product at the Kvalitář Gallery, and Berger with Lucie Rosenfeldová with their two-person exhibition at the Vitra Furniture Showroom. Both artists examine the possible relationships between the world of art and artistic operations and the way in which large corporations operate. They are interested in the relationship between corporate management and the way in which individuals manage themselves. What aspects that are purely personal remain in today’s blended “working” and “leisure” time? And how can the changes in today’s profit-oriented society be reflected in one’s own art?
